Vaccine Mandate

As of September 22nd, we will be implementing a mandatory proof of vaccination policy for all patrons attending Jamie Allan’s Illusionarium in the City of Toronto.

From September 22nd, all patrons will be required to present proof of vaccination to our entrance greeter in order to enter the venue and attend the exhibit.

Valid Proof

Until such time as Ontario introduces its digital proof of vaccination platform, we will be accepting proof of vaccination by means of the vaccine receipt received after the final vaccination.

This can be shown to our attendants via phone, printout, etc. This receipt indicates whether it was a first or second dose, as well as the date on which it was administered.

Patrons will also have to provide a valid photo ID, to match the names on the vaccination receipt.

Exception

To accommodate patrons as we transition into full compliance, we will accept proof of a negative COVID-19 test from September 22nd to October 12th in lieu of proof of vaccination. This negative test must have been done within 72 hours of attending Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit. Nucleic acid (including polymerase chain reaction (PCR)) tests are acceptable. Take-home tests will not be accepted. After October 12th, we will only accept proof of vaccination.

Please note, full vaccination is defined as having received two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine and having run a full two-week course since receiving the second shot. The Johnson and Johnson vaccine only requires one shot.

Children under the age of 12 are exempt from the vaccine mandate.
